Collision Density Map
Periodically, a graphical chart is produced to distribute to Traffic Unit officers showing the density of reported collisions which have occurred in the city of North Charleston. With this map, officers can focus thier attention to those areas for increased visibility and/or selective enforcement in an effort to reduce collisions at that location.

The intersections below represent the total number of reported collisions occurring at each location between January 1st 2004 to December 31st 2004. Note: Not all collisions occurred within the boundries of the actual intersection itself but were reported as the nearest intersection to the collision on a particular road. Only intersections with a collision count of 30 or above are listed.
