RUN INVESTIGATIONS
While all Traffic Unit officers are responsible for
responding to and investigating hit & run collisions as
they occur throughout the city, the Traffic Unit has an
officer designated to handle the follow-up of all hit &
run collisions initially handled by Uniform patrol officers
requiring further investigation.
