The number shown are the total Traffic Fatalities which have occurred within the City of North Charleston during the 2007 calendar year to December 31st, 2007. While we work very hard to prevent even a single traffic fatality, unfortunately tragedies do occur for many unforeseen and sometimes even preventable causes. It is our hope that by seeing the number of fatalities that have occured, that everyone will drive even more carefully, wear their seatbelts, and take the time to ensure that they and their passengers arrive at their destination safely.

In 2007 there were 22 traffic fatalities in 18 separate vehicle collisions in the City of North Charleston as shown below.
